We are a large practice serving a population of nearly 17,000 patients in Hildenborough, North Tonbridge and the surrounding villages. Our main Medical Centres are located in Hildenborough and at Trenchwood in Tonbridge, with branch surgeries in Weald and Leigh. Our aim is to provide, by an effective team approach, the highest quality of progressive family health care, in a happy and compassionate environment.

Self-Help for patients

Flu Vaccination Clinics
Flu vaccinations are now available for those patients over 65 years and under 65’s who are 'at risk', for further information follow this link. There are two new vaccinations this year, one for each group, so please ensure you book into the correct clinic when making your appointment. Please avoid using the car parks if possible as they become very congested during these clinics.
Dr Virginia Winstanley
We are pleased to announce that Dr Ginny Winstanley, who trained here as a GP Registrar, has joined the practice as a part-time partner. Dr Winstanley will hold clinics on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, working at both Hildenborough and Trenchwood Medical Centres.
Car Park at Hildenborough Medical Centre
The car park is generally very congested between 8.00 am and 11.30 am on weekdays and is best avoided during these times. If you are able to park elsewhere and/or arrive by alternative means please do so. If you need to attend the Medical Centre for anything other than an appointment, please avoid visiting us between these times.
Please always park with care, being aware of both slow moving pedestrians and other cars. Please avoid parking in the entrance and on the driveway if possible, and certainly not on the bend at the top of the driveway, which causes unnecessary obstruction. Thank you.
Please be aware that the practice premises have 24 hour CCTV monitoring in place.

Hildenborough & Tonbridge Medical Group offers the facility for patients to book doctors appointments, order repeat medication and view Summary Care Record / Detailed Coded Record information online using In Practice Systems (InPS) 'Patient Services'. If you would like to use these services, you will need to register. Please download the form below (or collect it from the surgery) and give the completed form to one of our reception team so that your registration can be processed. Please note that two forms of identification will be needed, one of which must be photo ID (eg passport, photo driving licence). The second form of ID should be a bank statement or similar (but not a utility bill). A letter will then be sent to you giving details of the steps to follow in order to create your online account. Once registered you can access the services via the link at the top right of this page.
If you have previously registered for Vision Online Services (VOS), you will need to set up your account with further security when you migrate to InPS Patient Services. Carefully follow the steps when you next log in, there is a help page with videos etc if needed. Download: Patient Services Registration form

Protected Learning Time
The practice will be closed for up to 9 afternoons each year to allow for in-house or locally-arranged training events. These dates have been arranged for all West Kent practices by the local Clinical Commissioning Group and IC24 to ensure that primary care teams are getting the essential training and development that they need to deliver the best possible service. Cover is provided by the out of hours service during this time.
