Booking system opens for spring covid vaccinations

Thousands of eligible patients can now book an appointment for the spring Covid-19 vaccination. The NHS booking system is now open, with appointments available from Tuesday, 1 April. 

Those eligible will receive an invitation from the NHS to encourage them to top up their protection this spring. This includes:

• adults aged 75 years and over
• residents in a care home for older adults
• individuals aged six months and over who have a weakened immune system.

Anyone eligible can book a vaccine appointment online by calling 119 for free.

The spring vaccination programme will end on 17 June 2025.
